Yesterday received my result. I am really disapponted with my AAP result. I fail my AAP, which mean i have to retake the module. The rest, i got B, B, B, C, D+. My result is not really that good. Sign... Then in the afternoon, i go for SGH, it have been a very very busy day since i have changed the room to 20. But, i and another ite nursing student have to look after room 11, 12 and 20. THe sums of patient = 18. And both of us miss going our break and dinner as we were too busy that we have no time at all. Then today was not really busy but one of the patient has passed away. This is the first patient that passed away during my whole attachment. At first, i just feel quite sad and i cried a little bit. Maybe, i think of my grandmother. Well, i think my grandmother is more lucky. At least my grandmother passed away in her own home. My grandmother passed away 1 day after her discharge. Whereas, the patient died in the hospital. Before that, his blood pressure is getting lower and lower and the doctor did not do anything to the decreasing blood pressure. They say just let him go peacefully. Life is short. I still remember that few days ago, i even asked him whether he want to eat the carrot cake. That time, he still can answer him, as the days passed, he become weaker and weaker. Then after that, during the tea break, i and the ite nursing students were talking abt it. Then one of them, amalina, say when she go and see him before he come out for break, she thought she see him breathing. Then i say, maybe he not dead yet and will come alive soon. Then after our break finished, we went back to our rooms. Then cos, amalina and i were in charge of the same room, so we were together lah. Then we talking abt amalina seeing the breathing thingy. Then, i saw a person walking out from the room, where the patient had just passed away. Then i say he come alive already and was walking out from the room. THen, amalina turned and looked and was shocked at first. The person looked like the patient that just passed away. And it was looked so alike.Then the person came to us and asked me in manderin[cos amalina dun understand chinese.], where is my brother? Then i say he is inside the room. Then i directed him inside and i then found out that he had moved. So i bring him and asked the staff nurse. Then after that, both amalina and i were laughing. Cos at first, when amalina saw the patient's brother, she actually really thought that is the patient and was shocked. then she quickly told herself that, " no, no. Surely is the patient brother. And i was more worst, when i saw him coming out from the room, i say without thinking, he came alive and was walking out of the room. HAHA.
Advice: Treasure your life. You may not know when u are going. Treasure friends, family around you. You may not know when they will suddenly vanished and will only stayed with you as memories.
