Mmm... Some doctors are lazy. LOL. There is this nerd-looking doctor in my ward. Last few days, he asked me, where should he put the used dressing set. The dressing set was full with blood. Then when i wanted to tell him what to do. I pointed where he should put and what he should do. When i turned to look at him, he put the dressing set down and went oof like that. Then i was so angry. Please lah, i not your maid ok? Helping you to throw away all that. Then because there is alot of blood so i took one gloves and do all the things needed to do. Then, since this incident, i forever never ever forget him. This lazy nerd-looking doctor. Haha. I think i'm bad, giving him a nickname. LOL. Then on tuesday night, i actually 9 sth then off duty. This is because of 1 irresponsiable doctor. It was like this, there is this patient on cathether. But because the doctor did not insert into the bladder properly, the patient wanted to urine but cannot. Then from monday night till tuesday night, he can't urine at all. THe urine was strucked in his bladder and he was trembling and was having cold sweats. He feel very terrible and painful as he can't urine. Imagine yourself if u can't urine for 24 hours, it definitely feel terrible. Then, so radio, c, ys and i chatted with him. Then he say when we chat with him, he don't really feel much pain as we were distracting him. So we chatted with him until the doctor come. Then from 8pm till 9 sth. We have been asking when is the doctor coming. And we always get the same reply, he is on the way. Then i was like wth, patient here is feeling terrible and he took so long to come. Then when the doctor come, he still walked in relaxly. Then the four of us were like, we dun let u urine for 24 hours then u noe. Then when the doctor come, the four of us stare at the doctor angrily. First, because of the doctor, we go home late. And the next day, we will be on morining shift. And by the time i reached home, it was later than usual. Then yesterday, some scary happened. In my room, there is this patient wanted to go out. One time say he want to find his son, then next is to go back to office and the next is to find his wallet. Then the staff nurse go and tie him to the chair using the bet at the chair. Then she asked me to observed him, dun let the patient to run away. So i and the other friend, ys, stayed at the room. The patient speak hokkien which i dun understand. Then ys understand a little bit hokkien and she helped me to translate. Then the patient at that time keep saying he want to go to the office. Then i say u can't. I asked him to go back to his office when he discharged. Then as time go by, he get very agitated. The remember one sentence he say, he say he want to bring me and ys to police station because we kidnapped him. Then i was like, i kidnapped him? Then after a while, he wanted to climbed out of the belt. Cause he is under fall precaution, i afriad that he fall. Then i get panicked and quickly stopped him. Then ys quickly go and informed the staff nurse while i try my best to stop him from climbing out. When the staff nurse came, she tighten the belt so that he can't climbed out. After tightening, he tried to climbed out and fail. So my CI asked me to do the parameters on the next bed while keeping on eyes on him. So, i and CI was doing the blood pressure. Then we saw the patient sliding down from the chair's belt. And i was sitting on the floor. Then both CI and I were very shocked. When CI and I come to our senses, we quickly helped him out. The most important thing is that lucky my CI[clinical instructor], was wif me at that time. Cause when the patient was on the floor, the hospital there may treat it as FALL. Which is a very very very serious mistake done by the nurse. If my CI is not there, i will be the only nurse there, which i may be counted for the fall. And nobody except me can witness that he actually slide down from the chair belt. Then after that the staff nurse and my CI tied his one leg using the belt. The same problem occurs again. He try to get out again. When my CI saw it, she give up and free him. Then my CI asked me to standby by his side. She and me to take a chair and sit by his bed. Then, i asked again"Sit down" Then she say nodded. Then i was like wow, got special privileges to sit on the chair. I have been standing for 8 hrs when i was on duty. I never get to sit down. Then cause i am nurse for that room, i got no choice but to chat wif him. But i never sit down. Cos i find it feel funny sitting down beside him. Then after that, he chatted happily wif me which is a miracle. Then ys and c were very curious what i been chatting wif him until he did not try to run away. It was actually a relief for me when he stopped the thinking of running away. =] Then when i was chatting with him halfway, his doctor come and the doctor asked me what happned. This is because the staff nurse actually called up his doctor. The when i say what actually happened, the doctor say this to him" Don't run away ar." Then i was like -_-". and asked me to call him if anything happened to the patient. Then today, the patient trying to escape had discharge. But heard that yesterday night, the patient is trying to kick the patient, A, beside him. In the morning, when i and radio were sponging A, he told us about the incident. And it all started because of one or two packets of biscuit. Then this morning, when i took the patient who trying to runaway to toilet. Then while he was in the toilet, my friend told me that the doctor want to see him and my friend thought that he disappeared. She came and see me and asked me very worried "Do you know where is XXX." Then i say, oh he is in toilet then she was like relief and told me that the doctor was looking for him. Then i say after he finished, i will bring him back to his bed. Then after that, when the patient finished, i help him back to the bed. At first i thought only one doctor, but when i was helping him back to his back, i got a shock of my life. There were actually one big big group of doctors surround his bed. Then i was like, why so many doctors? But most are training doctors that came for attachment as well from university. Then after that, in the late morning, i and radio helped a patient to change. He is actually under contack precaution when radio and i have to wear the long gowns and wear gloves all the time while attending to him. Then we have to switched off the fan when we changed diapers for the patient. Then we were sweating like hell when we were cleaning up the patient. Then, after we finished up, we can only took off our gloves and gowns at the disposable room. Then when we walked passed some of the training doctors, they keep looking at us as we were in the long gowns and gloves. We were like center attractions as only both of us looked really different from the rest of them because of our gowns. When we wear, i and another ITE student, B, joke that we are going up the space as it looked like space suit. LOL. Then after that, we took off the gowns and gloves at the disposal room. When feel really relief when we took off, it was so cooling. But we feel wet as we perspire. Then after that, we really bored as we have nothing to do already. Our room got a lot of bed spare as quite a number had dischared today. Then when a doctor passed by us, then radio say, wow the doctor very handsome. Then they all start saying which doctor is handsome and blah blah blah. Then i was like -_-". Well, i wasn't interested in this topic. Then we got say about rambutan and lychee. Haha. This is funny. And it is a secret also. LOL. Tommorrow will be my last day at the male room. Next week, i will be a female room. ='( Well, i think i will find it funny when i opened up the diapers and nothing is in front. And i really get used to it. Even if a man came naked in front of me, i don't think i will be frightened or surprised. I will just think that that person is pervert. I have already get used to it. LOL.
