Today, just came back from genting and we won a gOLD!!!! The trip is fUNNNNNN!This is wat i briefly do in this 5 days 4 nights.
On the Day 1, we arrive to genting from singapore.[obviously].And i didn't vomit throughout the whole journey. Thanks to the medicine tat my mum bought:) After tat, we go to our room after briefing from the teachers. After tat, at around 6, we went for dinner. The dinner is quite ok. Then after tat, i went back to the room to prepare for the fanfare at the open ceremony. We acted as a professional by stand straight and not moving. But i tink the goh actually late or wat. Then, our hands like start to shake and we try to hold on in order to give a good impression. After the fanfare, we quickly went up to our hotel room to kept our instruments and wear our jacket and join in the opening ceremony. After tat i went back to the room and bath. After tat, i was watching the tv when shijia and rachel knock on my door and ask me whether i want to walk walk around. So i go along. When i went out of the room and i suddenly remember tat i left my card[key] inside the room!When i want to go back and take, the door is lock!!!So we walk walk around for a while and went back to the room. Cause i left my room card insideand i dunno where is jolee, so i went to shijia and rachel's room which is just beside me. After tat, i use their phone and call mrs stevens for help. She ask me to call the reception. This part is actually very _______.This is wat i say when i call to the reception
me: erm...[think of wat to say] good night[my mind actually is in a blank and i am saying good night instead of good evening!!!my god.] the person: [laugh] me: erm, i am from 14770 but i calling from 14771[ my rubbish am i saying?]. i left my card inside the room and blah blah blah. the person: come down to the rception and collect another card.
And after tat, i ask shijia and rachel to accompany me down to the reception.and when we reach the lift lobby, i saw jolee came out of the lift. *phew* Tat night, jolee sleep wif nurul and fadilah. When they ask me along, i was already in bed and i am too tired to move to their room and so i sleep alone in the room all by myself. At first, it was quite frightening sleeping alone but after a while, i was too tired to be afraid and i fall asleep just like tat.
On the day 2, i wake up at 6am. I bath and went to shijia and rachel room and go down together to breakfast.tat day we got rehearsal and worksop. Tat night, we went to play the indoor theme park.we play the ferries wheel, roller coaster, bumper car. The bumper car was FUN!!! tat wat i can described. The whole lot of FJSB played together. and after the game was over, we look at the car. wow, ALL the cars were in the middle!! a really nice pattern. Should have take a photo of it. tat night, i sleep alone again, but tis time, wif the tv on.:p
the next day is the competition day. there is a morning call at 6am and report for breakfast at 7.after the breakfast, we were watching other bands playing. everyone was like very sleepy. tat day, when we were waiting to go to the tunning room. the whole of the section like doing a straight movement which will improve our tone:) and we keep doing it. and the other ppl like, wat are we doing..haha after tat, we were outside the ballroom waiting to go and listen to the results. and while waiting, we were busy taking photo. finally, we went inside the ballroom and waiting to the release of result. it was a long time before the results were released. finally they announced the result. When they say, band no. 15, we already panicking and were holding each other hands tightly. then came our band, no 16, the singapore rhadsody, we got 399/500 and soss 424/500. and we got a silver. ya silver. when we heard our result, our tears started to flow down, unable to control. after the dinner will be the friendship concert. while we were waiting to go in, we were playing games. everybody mood was like very high again:).after tat, while we were listening to the concert, i was sleepy and wanted a sleep badly.the song tat interest me is the goldilock and the three bears. it was cute. after tat, i buy curry mee and eat[cause i am very hungry]. the curry mee was nice. almost drink the whole of the curry down my stomach.tat night, jolee, rachel, shijia and i sleep together in rachel and shijia's room. this was because, the ppl/room above us is drilling. yes, drilling in the middle of night, at around 1am,and in the HOTEL ROOM!!!!!and i falll asleep fast.
The day four -the last day. Morning call on 6am. woke up and bath and report for breakfast. after tat, priscalla, kaiyih, guanqi and i went to the outdoor theme park. the first thing we played is the merry-go-round.and we played it three times. the first time, we sit on the 2nd storey. they we found out tat the first storey, the horse can move up and down. so we went to played for the 2nd time.and guess wat.the person-in-charge of the merry-go-round looked at us in a funny way. then after tat, we went to play the roller coaster. yes, i am screaming all the way:p. but tat not the scarier one. after tat, mre stevens asked us to look after her daughter while she go and played the roller coaster. and ya, vanessa wanted to play merry-go-round. and so we accompany her and played for the third time. this time, i dun dare to look at the person-in-charge. after tat, we accompany vanessa to play the astro fighter and around us is mostly young children and we looked at if we are over-aged.then after tat we were going to bring her to take the rodeo ride. and this is wat priscilla say to her."this one u hav to play yourself. because the max. height is 122cm and so we couldn't go and play. then tat, when we were going to bring her to play the rodeo ride, we saw mrs stevens. so we return vanessa to her. after tat, we go and take the flying coaster. it was scary for us. the whole of the journey, only guanqi and i screamed. kaiyih and priscilla were closing their eyes. and i sounded as if i going to cry. i will never take flying coaster ever again. After tat, we play all sort of coasters like: flying dragon, cyclone, rolling thunder mine train. and corkscrew. and when we were playing the corkscrew, it turn 360 degrees and my specs. nearly fall out. luckily, i hold tight my specs. in time. then during the rolling thunder mine train, kaiyih and i lost touch wif guanqi and priscilla. during lunch, kaiyih and i went to buy the cup noodles and eat it in my room. after tat, kaiyih and i take a nap and wake up at 4pm. after tat, i bath and she watch tv. then after tat i went to her room and we went for dinner. after tat, we went for fanfare for the closing ceremony. while we were waiting for the goh, we were taking photo. thanks priscilla for helping me to take photo and help us think of lots of pose including putting the trumpet on our head.haha.after the fanfare, we went up to hotel rooms and kept our instruments. when we reach the ballroom, we have to wait for a while before we can go in. then we heard a screaming and shouting inside the ballroom loudly. then afizan say there is roller coaster inside the ballrooom. haha, so funny.then narza came out of the ballroom and say tat, they have changed the rule. 80% and above will get a gold. when i heard tat, i am jumping in joy!!!!then, before the top bands perform, they announce the school's medal and also the result. when they announced, a group of OPSS were very irritating. when the person say tat the sch get a bronze and their reaction were" chey, bronze only." then when the person announce tat we get gold wif the percentage of 82.3, tat group of OPSS students say "Gold only." they say tat just because they are gold with distinction. So arrogant. after tat, i and kaiyih brought some things for our return journey and we went back to our rooms after tat. tat night, i sleep wif shijia and rachel again.
The next day, we woke up at 5.15am. and we went back to singapore.
